Grammy's Place

Scrumptious food! Homemade everything and you can taste the difference. Grammy served us personally and catered to our every need and want. I highly recommend this lovely place. My hubby had the monte cristo and I had the veggie breakfast bowl with dark rye. The rings were just a nice extra because we asked about them. The potato salad was super yummy with a nice pickle taste.

This place is a little gem. The food was excellent: I had a French Sammie with bacon and cheddar (try it with jalapenos--so good!), while my family had the Salisbury Steak and Eggs, Breakfast Poutine, and the classic Benny (I loved the homemade Hollandaise!). The baked goods were so tempting (though we had no room for a slice of cake after) and the homemade (sourdough) bread served with our breakfasts was amazing. But what really sets this place apart is the service. I have never seen quite as much joy and dedication in servers at a restaurant. They were very friendly (but not intrusive) and were obviously having a great time doing their work. It was a pleasure to visit and we'll be back again soon!

We had such a great experience! The servers are super friendly and attentive. It was very busy in there, every table was full. A few minutes after we ordered the owner offered some complimentary bowls of soup to tie us over until we got our meals which were home made and super yummy. The stuffed French toast is a 10/10. All of the bread and buns are home made, the cranberry bread was amazing and they had a home made raspberry jam with local raspberries. The servings are HUGE, we were wishing we ordered the half portions but I guess leftovers the next day aren’t such a bad thing. They have a song of the month and make a fun game of it. If you hear the song of the month and someone in the restaurant sings everyone gets 10% off. When we were there the song of the month was played and the whole restaurant sang it was so fun! We came from out of town and felt so welcome and were treated like locals. You can tell that this restaurant is loved by the community. Thank you for the great experience!

Our last attempt to sample this new business found them closed as they are open Wednesday through Sunday inclusive. What a wonderful treat, they were open and eager to satisfy. It's a small establishment with old time character in a very clean and genuinely friendly environment. Staff are happy in the workplace and the food is excellent. The portions are huge and unless you're running on empty you probably won't finish your meal and clean your plate. Everything is homemade so you're going to think fondly of mom or grandmas kitchen and food. The scent of fresh baked goods and food being prepared is going to enhance your experience. Thanks for a truly wonderful dining experience. FYI the take home food ( cakes cookies etc) look great and I noticed that they have gluten free carrot cake that will make your mouth water!

Grammy makes everything in house. The breads were amazing! Mushroom soup was creamy and delicious. The meal sizes....be ready! Absolutely huge portions!!!Cassandra was our delightfully charismatic server. She sold us on everything.....and no regrets! Super accidental find! We were looking for the IHOp, glad we didn't find it!

Tried something new today. The eggs benny, giant sticky buns and french toast have always been my go-to orders. But wait! Turkey Pesto on sourdough was phenomenal! And I recognized that special ingredient in the potato salad, because I put it in my recipe too! A new favorite. Love this tiny restaurant with friendly staff who are always smiling. Soon you will need a bigger location for all the customers who are finding out about you Support local family restaurants! They need us more than ever these days!

Where do I even start, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The service deserves 1000 stars alone, it felt like my own mother was speaking to me through those servers. The hospitality and joy these employees and the manager bring is beyond what I can fathom. The food at a low price is nothing like you’ve ever experienced, the amount you get for so little money is absolutely absurd, not to mention the quality of the food is a 10/10, so rich and made with love. Do I recommend this place? I encourage you to get up and come here right now as you read this, waste no time! Hurry!!

Best brunch I have had in a long time. Not cheap but you get more than what you pay for. Home made sourdough bread and coffee that did not require sugar. Cooked to perfection and served with love. Customer service that should be a model for all businesses.
